Description

For sale: a Rare and Exceptional first edition, first printing hardcover copy of The Thin Red Line by James Jones in a new archival wrap. First William Morrow Edition stated, 2006 Wm. Morrow. First Printing with full number line.

The book is in Very Good condition with bright boards with a few spots and a 1″ tear on the front spine end which is also separated from the text block. Also with, strong title ink on a straight spine, a few marks on the page blocks, tight binding, mild spine tilt, mild edge wear, and rubbed  corners. The interior of the book is in Very Good  condition with no marks, inscriptions, or other signs of ownership inside. The illustrated end papers are clean and the interior pages are clean and lightly toned, making it an excellent addition to any collection.

The dust jacket is in Very Good condition with the price on the front flap, mild surface wear, a scratch on the back, heavy edge wear and chips on the corners and spine ends.  Looks great in a new Brodart archival wrap.
