The book is in Very Good condition with clean, bright boards and a strong title on a lightly sunned spine. Also, clean page blocks, tight binding, mild spine tilt, lightly rolled spine ends, mild edge wear, . The interior of the book is in Very Good condition with the name of the previous owner and an erased price on the first free end paper. There is an older white paper label, 1.5″ x 1″ on the front paste down, as well. The frontispiece is missing, but the other fifteen full page Arthur Rackham color prints are clean, strong and protected by clean, captioned tissue guards with no foxing. No other marks, inscriptions, or other signs of ownership inside. The rear end paper and the interior pages are clean and lightly toned, making it an excellent addition to any collection.
