Our Town is a three-act metatheatrical play created by American playwright Thornton Wilder in 1938. Wilder was awarded the 1938 Pulitzer Prize for Drama for this play. “Our Town” tells the story of the fictional American small town of Grover’s Corners between 1901 and 1913 through the everyday lives of its citizens.
The Skin of Our Teeth is a play by Thornton Wilder that won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama. It opened on October 15, 1942, at the Shubert Theatre in New Haven, Connecticut, before moving to the Plymouth Theatre on Broadway on November 18, 1942. It was produced by Michael Myerberg and directed by Elia Kazan.
