For sale: a rare and exceptional first edition, ninth printing of The Once and Future King by T. H. White in a protected in a new archival wrap.
The book is in Very Good condition with bright blue boards with a few white spots, strong silver title gilt on the straight spine. Also, lightly toned page blocks, tight binding, heavy spine tilt, rolled and lightly rubbed spine ends, moderate edge wear, and rounded corners. The half-title page contains a quote and gift inscription – not from the author. No other marks, inscriptions, or other signs of ownership. The interior pages are clean and lightly toned , making it an excellent addition to any collection.
The dust jacket is in Good condition with mild surface wear, heavy edge wear, large gaps, the price is cut from the front flap, but the Fourth Printing is still present. Looks good in a new Brodart archival wrap.
Ships promptly in with book wrapped in both craft paper and multiple layers of bubble wrap.
