Description

For sale: a Rare and Exceptional Book Club edition, first printing hardcover copy of Night Shift by Stephen King in a new archival wrap. Book Club edition unstated, 1978 Doubleday. Early Book Club Printing with no gutter code and Doubleday imprints on both the title page and the dust jacket spine.

The book is in Near Fine condition with clean, black boards with a surprisingly, strong sheen and a ding to the spine edge near the author’s namr. Also present is a strong title ink on a convex spine,  clean page blocks, tight binding, mild spine tilt, rolled and lightly rubbed spine ends, moderate edge wear, and lightly rubbed corners. The interior of the book is also in Near Fine condition with no marks, inscriptions or other signs of ownership inside. The interior pages are very clean and bright, making it an excellent addition to any collection.

The dust jacket is in Very Good condition with a 1″ triangular tear on the spine repaired with acid-free tape inside. Also lightly toned with moderate surface wear, a lightly sunned spine and moderate to heavy edge wear. Book Club Edition stated on front flap and 2228 code on rear flap. Looks attractive in a new Brodart archival wrap.
