For sale: a Rare and Exceptional Book Club edition, first printing hardcover copy of It by Stephen King in a new archival wrap.
The book is in Near Fine condition with clean, bright boards with a small dent on the top edge. Also, strong title ink on a slightly concave spine, clean page blocks, tight binding, no spine tilt, lightly rolled spine ends, mild edge wear, and strong corners. The interior of the book is in Near Fine condition with mild wrinkling to the top margins of the first 30 pages. This is most evident on the first the first free end paper, where one can see the cause is the dent to the top edge of the front board. No other marks, inscriptions or signs of ownership inside. The rear end paper and the interior pages are clean and bright, making it an excellent addition to any collection. Appears to be unread.
The dust jacket is in Near Fine condition with a 1/4″ rubbed spot on the rear spine seem, clean and shiny covers and very mild edge wear. First state jacket with no price on the un-clipped front flap, and the barcode on the rear cover. Looks great in a new Brodart archival wrap. The missing jacket price is the only evidence of being a book club edition.
