First Edition. 1924 Little Brown. Third Printing presumed with 1929 on title page. NF hardcover with no dust jacket, as issued. Boards are very clean and bright with a few spots on the back, very mild edge wear, and one bumped corner. Gilt letters are very strong on both the front title/graphic and the spine. Top gilt very strong, as well. Both front and rear hinges are strong and the binding is very strong. A blind stamp is on the bottom of FEP. Both end papers have discolorations from something stored in the book. No other marks or inscriptions. Inside pages are strong, supple, clean and surprisingly bright. This is a real beauty!
