First Edition. 1924 Little Brown. First Printing with 1924 on both title and copyright pages. Good/VG hardcover with no dust jacket, as issued. Boards are relatively clean with fabric pattern still present, and with rubbed/rounded corners and spine ends. Gilt letters still strong on the front title/graphic. Gilt from the sunned spine are all gone, but the letters are still imprinted. Top gilt very strong, but with spots and soiling. The front hinge is totally split and being held together with acid-free document tape, but the binding is still strong. Previous owner’s name only on FEP. No other marks or inscriptions. Inside pages clean and lightly toned.
