For sale: a Rare first edition, later printing hardcover copy of The Book Thief by Marcus Zusak in a damaged dust jacket protected in a new archival wrap. First American Edition stated, 2006 Knopf. Eleventh Printing with number line.
The book is in Very Good condition with bright boards with spots and smudges, strong silver gilt on the spine, small remainder mark on bottom page block, tight binding, mild spine tilt, lightly rolled spine ends, . There are no other marks, inscriptions, or other signs of ownership inside. The interior pages are clean and bright, making it an excellent addition to any collection.
The dust jacket is in Fair-Good condition with damage to a 1″ x 3″ section of the bottom edge of the back. No corresponding damage to the book and it is pretty well disguised by the new Brodart archival wrap. Otherwise the front of the jacket appears Very Good with the price intact, silver award medallion and mild signs of wear.
