For sale: a Rare and Exceptional first edition, early printing paperback of What Matters Most Is How Well You Walk Through the Fire by Charles Bukowski. First Ecco Edition stated, 2002 Ecco. Sixth Printing with partial number line, 10 9 8 7 6.

The exterior of this trade paperback edition is in Very Good condition, with bright covers with no creases, lightly soiled page blocks, mild surface wear, strong title on a concave spine, a tight binding with multiple spine cracks, rubbed spine ends, mild edge wear and lightly rounded corners.  There is also sticker residue on the rear barcode. The interior of the book is also in Very Good condition with an erased price on the first free end paper. No other marks, inscriptions, or other signs of ownership inside. The inside covers and the interior pages are clean and lightly toned, making it an excellent addition to any collection.

What Matters Most Is How Well You Walk Through the Fire is the second posthumous collection from Charles Bukowski that takes readers deep into the raw, wild vein of writing that extends from the early 1970s to the 1990s.
