For sale: a rare Ex-Library first edition, early printing hardcover copy of West Side Story by Arthur Laurents, Leonard Bernstein & Stephen Sondheim in a new archival wrap. First Edition stated, 19Random House. Ninth Printing stated.
The book is in Good condition with a few signs of an ex_library edition: a cardboard sleeve, name stamp and date stamp on the first free end paper,one name stamp on the title page and a name stamp and inventory number on page 31. There are tape stains on the boards, dust jacket flaps and end papers, but not much else. The exterior of the book has bright boards each with two tape stains, strong title gilt on the straight spine, clean page blocks with no stamps, tight binding, heavy spine tilt, lightly rolled spine ends, heavy edge wear, and bumped and rubbed corners. The interior of the book is in Good condition with lightly toned interior pages.
The dust jacket is in Good condition with the call number inked on the spine, tape stains on both flaps, mild edge wear, and the price is cut from the flap. Looks pretty good in a new Brodart archival wrap.
