The book is in Near Fine condition with bright boards with a few spots, strong title ink on a concave spine, lightly foxed top page block, tight binding, mild spine tilt, rolled spine ends, mild edge wear, and two lightly rubbed corners. The interior of the book is in Near Fine condition with no marks, inscriptions or signs of ownership inside. The end papers and the interior pages are clean and lightly toned, making it an excellent addition to any collection.
The dust jacket is in Very Good- condition with mild surface wear, heavy edge wear, chips and a 1/2″ triangular gap on the back. First state jacket with the $38.00 price on the front flap and 1183 date code on the rear flap. Looks great in a new Brodart archival wrap.
