For sale: a Rare and Exceptional four paperback edition, box set of The Vonnegut Quartet: Breakfast of Champions, Mother Night, Player Piano, Wampeters, Foma & Granfalloons by Kurt Vonnegut. Paperback Edition unstated, Dell Books. Two of the volumes are first printings and two are later printings: Breakfast of Champions states a First Dell Printing and is dated January 1975, Wampeters, Foma & Granfalloons states a First Dell Printing – March 1976 and is dated March 1976. Mother Night states a Twelfth Dell Printing, June 1971 and Player Piano is a Sixth Printing -June 1975. Covers with different cover prices were collected in the Box Set.
All four mass market paperbacks are with clean, lightly toned cover with no creases, clean page blocks, moderate to heavy surface wear, strong titles on concave spines, tight bindings, rubbed spine ends, mild edge wear and rounded corners. The interior of the books are also in Very Good condition with no marks, inscriptions, or other signs of ownership inside. The inside covers and the interior pages are clean and lightly toned, making it an excellent addition to any collection. Player Piano is in Good condition with mild staining of the spine. Wampeters has an imprint of a bookstore’s ink stamp and stained page blocks. The other two volumes are in Very Good condition.
The Poor cardboard slipcase has heavy wear on all surfaces, heavy edge wear with some bare spots and no longer can hold all four volumes.
