For sale is a Near Fine revised paperback edition, first printing of The Tarot: A Short Treatise on Reading Cards by S.L. MacGregor Mathers. Edition described, 1993 Samuel Weiser. Originally published as a pamphlet in 1888. This edition uses the Tarot of Marseilles as illustrations.
The exterior of the paperback edition is in NF condition, with clean, illustrated covers with no creases, mild surface wear, strong title on an un-cracked spine, a few light smudges on the page blocks, a tight binding with no creases, lightly rubbed spine ends, mild edge wear and lightly rounded corners.
The interior of the book is also Near Fine, with no marks, inscriptions, or any other signs of ownership. The end papers and the interior pages are clean and lightly toned.
