The book is in Near Fine condition with clean, lightly faded boards, strong silver title gilt on a quarter-wrap spine, moderately foxed page blocks, tight binding, no spine tilt, lightly rolled spine ends, moderate edge wear, and lightly rubbed corners. The interior of the book is in Very Good condition with one inch damp stains on the front and rear gutters. No other marks, inscriptions, or signs of ownership. The interior pages are clean and bright, making it an excellent addition to any collection.
The dust jacket is in Very Good condition with price intact, mild surface wear and heavy edge wear, chips and small tears. First state jacket with $15.95 and 0284 date code on the creased front flap. Looks great in a new Brodart archival wrap.
