For sale is a rare and exceptional single song sheet music in an archival sleeve. 1934 Leo Feist Music. Music and Lyrics by Noel Gay and Harry Graham.  Piano, Banjo, Ukelele, 3 Saxophones and Vocals, 8 pages with two strong seams. Presumed 35 cent price.

On the front cover is a graphic design from the Broadway production. On the rear cover are three one-bar excerpts from “I’m Happy When You’re Happy,” “Everything But Love,” and “Lonesome Lover.”

The King’s Horses ( And The King’s Men ) is a  popular song by Noel Gay and Harry Graham. It is from the Broadway production of the same name, which opened January 30th, 1934 at the Sam S. Shubert Theatre in New York City, moved to the Imperial Theatre on February 19th, 1934 and ran for 120 performances. .The musical starred Guy Robertson, Nancy Mitford, Betty Starbuck, Andrew Tombes and Doris Patston.

The front cover is in Very Good condition with the previous owner’s name and date, no creases, no tears, lightly rounded corners and a strong seam. The interior pages are in Very Good condition with mild edge wear and another strong seam. No marks on clean pages.
