The exterior of the paperback edition is in Good condition, with clean, bright covers with a partial and a corner crease on the front, heavy surface wear, strong title on a title spine, clean page blocks, a tight binding with multiple creases, rubbed spine ends, mild edge wear and rounded corners. The interior of the book is in Very Good condition with no marks, inscriptions, or signs of ownership inside. The inside covers and the interior pages are clean and lightly toned, making it an excellent addition to any collection.

Set in the south of France in the late 1920s, Tender Is the Night is the tragic tale of a young actress, Rosemary Hoyt, and her complicated relationship with the alluring American couple Dick and Nicole Diver. A brilliant psychiatrist at the time of his marriage, Dick is both husband and doctor to Nicole, whose wealth pushed him into a glamorous lifestyle, and whose growing strength highlights Dick’s decline.
