For sale: a Rare and Exceptional first US hardcover edition, first printing of Star Quality: Six Stories by Noël Coward, with no dust jacket. First Edition stated, 1951 Doubleday Doran. First printing with no subsequent printing and 1951 on both title and copyright pages.
The book is in Very Good condition with clean, cloth boards with faded title ink on a sunned spine and stronger gilt on the front initials. Also with, toned page blocks, tight binding, moderate spine tilt, rolled and rubbed spine ends, heavy edge wear, and two bumped corners. The interior of the book is also in Very Good condition with the previous owner’s gift inscription on the first free end paper and no other marks, inscriptions, or signs of ownership. The end papers and the interior pages are clean and lightly toned.
