For sale is a first edition, first printing hardcover copy of A Spaniard in the Works by John Lennon with no dust jacket as issued. First Edition unstated, 1965 Simon and Schuster. First Printing with no subsequent printing on the frontispiece and $2.50 back cover price.
The exterior of the book is in Good with bright boards with strong front cover illustration, toned page blocks, strong title ink on a rubbed spine, mild spine tilt, heavy edge wear and heavily rubbed corners. The gutters on both sides have heavy wear with bare sections. The interior of the book is also in Near Fine condition with the ghost of an erased price on the first free end paper. No other marks, inscriptions, or other signs of ownership inside. The end papers and the interior pages are clean and bright, making it an excellent addition to any collection.
