For sale: a Rare and Exceptional first edition, early printing hardcover copy of The Snow Goose by Paul Gallico in a new archival wrap. First Published April 7, 1941 stated, 1941 Wm. Morrow. Fifth Printing August 1969 stated.
The book is in Very Good condition with bright boards with a few spots, strong title ink on a square spine, a few marks on the page blocks, tight binding, mild spine tilt, mild edge wear, and rubbed corners. The interior of the book is in Very Good condition with the five word gift inscription of the previous owner on the first free end paper. No other marks, inscriptions, or other signs of ownership inside. The rear end paper is clean and the interior pages are clean and lightly toned, making it an excellent addition to any collection.
The dust jacket is in Good condition with the price cut from the front flap, mild surface wear, heavy edge wear, large chips on the corners and spine ends and two open tears on the front. Looks great in a new Brodart archival wrap.
