Description

For sale: an exceptional first edition, first printing hardcover copy of Seven Plays by Bertolt Brecht. Edited by Eric Bentley. First Edition unstated, 1961 Grove Press. First Printing stated.

The book is in Very Good condition with clean boards, strong title ink on a straight spine, tight binding, mild spine tilt, lightly rolled  spine ends, light smudges on top page block, mild edge wear, and bumped and rubbed corners. The interior of the book is also in Very Good condition with no marks, inscriptions or other signs of ownership inside. The end papers and the interior pages are clean and lightly toned, making it an excellent addition to any collection.

The dust jacket is In Very Good condition with mild surface wear, a sunned spine, heavy edge wear, chips, gaps and three 1″ tears repaired with acid-free tape. The front graphic design is mostly free of defects,  which looks great  in a new Brodart archival wrap. Dust jacket is first state with $8.50 price intact.
