The exterior of the paperback edition is in Near Fine condition, with clean, bright covers with no creases, mild surface wear, strong title on a square spine, clean page blocks, a tight binding with no creases, rubbed spine ends, mild edge wear and lightly rubbed corners. The interior of the book is in Near Fine condition with no marks, inscriptions, or signs of ownership. The inside covers and the interior pages are clean and lightly toned.
This exhibition, organized by the Phoenix Art Museum and drawn from the Papp Collection, featured fifty masterworks of the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties. These works explored the transmission of the canonical styles and ideals of Chinese paintings from masters to their students.
