For sale: a rare first paperback edition, first printing of The Scar (Bas-Lag, Book 2) by China Miéville with a remainder mark.
The exterior of the paperback edition is in Very Good condition, with two 1/4″ tears on the top and bottom spine seams mended with small pieces of acid-free tape. Also with a small remainder mark on the top page block, clean, illustrated covers, no creases, mild surface wear, strong title on a straight spine, a tight binding with no spine cracks, lightly rubbed spine ends, and mild edge and corner wear. This is a large format paperback (9″ x 6″ x 1.3″) with the price on the front french flap.
The interior of the book is also in Near Fine condition with an erased price on the first free end paper. No other marks, inscriptions, or other signs of ownership inside. The end papers and the interior pages are clean and bright, making it an excellent addition to any collection. Appears unread.
