For sale is a rare and exceptional later edition of A Room of One’s Own by Virginia Woolf, with no dust jacket in a Very Good slipcase. Revised Edition unstated, 1981 Harcourt Brace.

The book is in Near Fine condition with clean, cloth boards with a strong sheen, strong title gilt on a sunned spine, clean page blocks, tight binding, mild spine tilt, lightly rolled spine ends, mild edge wear, and lightly rounded corners. The interior of the book is also in Near Fine condition with no marks, inscriptions, or other signs of ownership. The end papers and the interior pages are clean and bright, making this an excellent addition to any collection.

No dust jacket as issued. The slipcase is in Very Good condition with mild edge and corner wear and unevenly faded boards.

A Room of One’s Own is an extended essay by Virginia Woolf, first published in September 1929. The work is based on two lectures Woolf delivered in October 1928 at Newnham College and Girton College, women’s constituent colleges at the University of Cambridge.
