For sale: a Rare and Exceptional first edition, first printing hardcover copy of The Road by Cormac McCarthy in a new archival wrap. First Edition stated, 2006 Knopf. First Printing with no subsequent printing.

The book is in Fine condition with clean, bright boards with strong title gilt on a straight spine, a few light smudges on page blocks, tight binding, mild spine tilt, rolled spine ends, mild edge wear, and lightly bumped corners. The interior of the book is in Fine condition with no marks, inscriptions, or other signs of ownership inside. The end papers and the interior pages are clean and bright, making it an excellent addition to any collection.

The dust jacket is in Very Good+ condition with heavy surface rubbing and mild edge wear. First state jacket with the $24.00 price on the front flap and 10/2006 date on rear flap. Iconic jacket design by Chip Kidd, looks great in a new Brodart archival wrap.
