Description

For sale: a Rare and Exceptional first edition, first printing hardcover copy of Ransom by Jay McInerney.  First Edition stated. A Vintage Original also stated, September 1985 Vintage Books. First Printing with no subsequent printing and a $15.95 cover price.

The book is in Near Fine condition with clean, bright boards and a small remainder mark on the bottom page block. Also with, strong title ink on a straight spine, tight binding, mild spine tilt, rounded spine ends, mild edge wear, and lightly rubbed corners. The interior of the book is also in Near Fine condition with an erased price on the first free end paper. No other marks, inscriptions, or other signs of ownership inside. The rear end paper and the interior pages are clean and bright, making it an excellent addition to any collection.

The dust jacket is in Near Fine condition with the price on the creased front flap, and mild surface and edge wear. Looks great in a new Brodart archival wrap.
