For sale: a Rare and Exceptional first edition, second printing hardcover copy of Ragtime by E. L. Doctorow, complete with an unclipped dust jacket protected in a new archival wrap.
The book is in Very Good condition with bright boards with spotting and a few marks. Also with, some chips missing from the title gilt on a sunned spine, spotted top page block, tight binding, mild spine tilt, rolled and rubbed spine ends, heavy edge wear, and rubbed corners. The interior of the book is also in Near Fine condition with the script name of the previous owner on the front paste down. No other marks, inscriptions, or other signs of ownership inside. The rear end paper and the interior pages are clean and lightly toned, making it an excellent addition to any collection.
The dust jacket is in Very Good condition with moderate surface wear, heavy edge wear, chips, gaps, and the $8.95 price on the front flap with some sticker residue. Looks great in a new Brodart archival wrap.
