For sale is a rare and exceptional first edition, first printing of Presence by Arthur Miller, with a remainder mark. First Edition described, 2007 Viking First Printing with full number line, 1 3 5 7 9 10 8 5 4 2.

The exterior of the book is in Near Fine condition, with spotless boards and a large remainder mark on the bottom page block. Also, strong title gilt on a straight spine, clean top and side page blocks, a tight binding, mild spine tilt, lightly rolled spine ends, mild edge wear and strong corners. The interior of the book is also in Near Fine condition, with the ghost of an erased price on the first free end paper. No other marks, inscriptions, or any other signs of ownership. The end papers and the interior pages are clean and bright, making it an excellent addition to any collection.

The dust jacket is in Near Fine condition with price on the front flap, and moderate to heavy surface and edge wear. Looks great in a new Brodart archival wrap.

A final collection of stories by the late Tony Award-winning playwright includes pieces that were originally published in such magazines as The New Yorker and Harper’s, in a volume that features such stories as “Bulldog,” “Beavers,” and “The Performance.”
