Description

For sale: a Rare and Exceptional mass market paperback edition, later printing of Lady Windermere’s Fan, A Woman of No Importance, An Ideal Husband, The Importance of Being Earnest, Salomé by Oscar Wilde. [First] Five Play Edition stated, 1954 Penguin Plays. Later  Printing with 1982 print date.

The exterior of this paperback edition is in Very Good condition, with clean, illustrated covers with one corner crease, toned page blocks, mild surface wear, strong title “Plays” on a sun-faded spine which makes the white ink of the author’s name illegible. Also with, a tight binding with no spine cracks, lightly rubbed spine ends, mild edge wear and lightly rounded corners. The interior of the book is also in Near Fine condition with some turned corners on the first 6 pages. No other marks, inscriptions, or signs of ownership inside. The end papers and the interior pages are clean and bright, making it an excellent addition to any collection.
