For sale: a Rare and Exceptional Book Club Edition hardcover copy of Pilgrim at Tinker Creek by Annie Dillard in a new archival wrap. First US Edition stated, 1974 HarperCollins. Book Club edition unstated with HB1D gutter code on the last page.
The book is in Very Good condition with clean, lightly faded boards, strong title gilt on the straight spine, clean page blocks, tight binding, mild spine tilt, lightly rolled spine ends, mild edge wear, rounded and rubbed corners, and a Book Club dimple on the back cover. The interior of the book is in Near Fine condition with the ghost of an erased price on the first free end paper. No other marks, inscriptions, or other signs of ownership inside. The illustrated endpapers and the interior pages are clean and lightly toned.
The dust jacket is in Very Good condition with mild surface wear, a small tear on a sunned spine, heavy edge wear, and no price on the flap. Looks great in a new Brodart archival wrap.
