For sale: a Rare and Exceptional second edition, early printing hardcover copy of A Pictorial Biography of the Venerable Master Hsu Yun (Xu Yun, Empty Cloud) by Hsuan Hua with no dust jackets as issued. Second Edition stated, 2006 ‎ Buddhist Text Translation Society (BTTS). First Printing with complete number line 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1. Bilingual Chinese/English with black and white line drawings.

Both volumes are in Near Fine condition with clean, illustrated boards, strong title graphic on convex spines and the front cover, clean page blocks, tight binding, no spine tilt, lightly rolled spine ends, mild edge wear, and lightly rubbed corners. Volume 2 only has an abrasion on the back from a removed sticker. The interior of the books is also in Near Fine condition with an erased price on the first free end paper. No other marks, inscriptions, or other signs of ownership inside. The end papers and the interior pages are clean and bright, making it an excellent addition to any collection.
