The book is in Fine condition with clean, bright boards, strong title ink on a straight spine, clean page blocks, tight binding, no spine tilt, lightly rolled spine ends, no edge wear, and strong corners. The interior of the book is also in Fine condition with no marks, inscriptions, or other signs of ownership inside. Richly told and profoundly moving, Pachinko is a story of love, sacrifice, ambition, and loyalty. From bustling street markets to the halls of Japan’s finest universities to the pachinko parlors of the criminal underworld, Lee’s complex and passionate characters–strong, stubborn women, devoted sisters and sons, fathers shaken by moral crisis–survive and thrive against the indifferent arc of history.

Ships promptly in a corrugated mailer with book wrapped in both craft paper and multiple layers of bubble wrap.
