The exterior of the book is in Near Fine condition with clean, bright boards, and strong title gilt on the clean, cloth quarter-wrap. Also with two light stains on the page blocks, tight binding, no spine tilt, lightly rolled spine ends, mild edge wear, and lightly rubbed corners. The interior of the book is also in Near Fine condition with no marks, inscriptions or other signs of ownership inside. The end papers and the interior pages are clean and lightly toned, making it an excellent addition to any collection.
The dust jacket is in Very Good condition with vibrant colors, mild surface wear, mild sunning of the spine, and a 1″ tear repaired with acid-free tape. First state jacket with the $4.50 price on the front flap and the Carvel Colllins bio on the rear flap. Looks great in a new Brodart archival wrap.
