For sale: a Rare first hardcover edition, first printing of Neil Young’s Greendale by Josh Dysart. First Edition unstated, 2012 DC Comics. First Printing stated on copyright page. Color Illustrations by Cliff Chiang.

The book is in Good condition with heavy surface wear on the front title and background image which frames the strong color on the color plate and minimal library marks: the library name stamped on the bottom of the first free end paper and “Withdrawn” stamped on the top of the same page, “Withdrawn” stamped on the top of the next page and an abrasion from removed inventory label on the title page. Abrasions from another removed label is on the top rear board. The title ink is lightly faded but still clearly legible on the cloth spine. Also with clean page blocks, tight binding, mild spine tilt, lightly rolled spine ends, mild edge wear, and four heavily bumped and rubbed corners. The interior of the book is in Very Good condition with no  other marks, labels, or  writing inside. The the interior pages are clean and bright.

Greendale is based on Neil Young’s critically acclaimed 2003 album and 2004 film of the same name. Many have referred to the album as a “rock novel” which explores the effects of crime, media, consumerism and environmental issues on the Green family in the sheltered small Northern California town of Greendale.
