For sale: a Rare and Exceptional first paperback edition, first printing of McSweeney’s Issue 21 by Adam Levin, Joyce Carol Oates, Roddy Doyle and others. First Edition unstated, 2005 McSweeney’s Books. First Printing with no subsequent printing.

The exterior of this paperback edition is in Very Good condition, with clean, bright covers with two small tears and a punch-cut corner on the back. Also with, no creases, clean page blocks, mild surface wear, strong title on a square spine, a tight binding with no spine cracks, lightly rubbed spine ends, mild edge wear and lightly rounded corners. The interior of the book is also in Near Fine condition with an erased price on the first free end paper. No other marks, inscriptions, or other signs of ownership inside. The end papers and the interior pages are clean and bright, making it an excellent addition to any collection.

McSweeney’s Issue 21 includes work by Roddy Doyle and Stephen Elliott, as well as the triumphant return of Arthur Bradford. There’s also new stories (written by secretive and heretofore unknown authors) of beauty and acuity.
