Very Good First Printing in a Near Fine dust jacket protected in a new archival wrap. First edition, stated  1982 Knopf. First Printing with 1982 on both title and copyright pages and no subsequent printing.
Very Good+ hardcover, with tight binding, strong corners and mild soiling to boards. No markings inside, no ink, no underlining. Book is not ex-library, not a remainder, not a book club edition.
Dust jacket is in Near Fine shape with mild edge wear. First state with $10.95 price intact on front flap and 8/82 date on the rear. Looks great in a new archival wrap.
