The book is in Near Fine condition with bright boards with a long curving indent on the rear board, with a corresponding mark on the jacket. Also with, strong title gilt on a straight spine, heavily foxed top page block, tight binding, mild spine tilt, lightly rolled spine ends, mild edge wear, and lightly rubbed corners. The interior of the book is also in Near Fine condition with the ghost of an erased price on the first free end paper. No other marks, inscriptions, or signs of ownership. The rear end paper, all the black and white woodcuts and the interior pages are clean and bright, making it an excellent addition to any collection.
The dust jacket is in Near Fine condition with the curving imprint of a dull object like a ball [point pen, but with no ink. Also mild surface and edge wear and the price on the front flap. Looks great in a new Brodart archival wrap.
Small volume ships promptly in a manila envelope with the book wrapped in both craft paper and multiple layers of bubble wrap.
