The book is in Very Good+ condition with clean, bright boards, strong title gilt on the spine, a few marks on page blocks, tight binding, moderate to heavy spine tilt, rolled spine ends, mild edge wear, and two lightly bumped corners. The interior of the book is in Near Fine condition with the ghost of an erased price on the first free end paper. No other marks, inscriptions, or other signs of ownership inside. The end papers and the interior pages are clean and bright, making it an excellent addition to any collection.
The dust jacket is in Very Good condition with moderate soiling to both covers, heavy edge wear, chips and two tears repaired with acid-free tape on the top end of the spine. First state jacket with £7.95 price on the front flap is Looks great in a new Brodart archival wrap.
