For sale: a rare and exceptional Book Club Edition, early printing of Lord of Light by Roger Zelazny, without the dust jacket. Book Club Edition (BCE) unstated, 1967 Doubleday. Early (perhaps First) Printing with I43 gutter code on page 257, which indicates an October 1967 printing.
The book is in Very Good condition with clean, bright boards with scuff marks on the rear board. Also with, strong title ink on a straight spine, lightly foxed page blocks, tight binding, no spine tilt, rolled spine ends, mild edge wear, lightly bumped corners and no BCE dimple on the back cover. The interior of the book is also in Very Good condition with an erased price on the first free end paper. No other marks, inscriptions, or other signs of ownership. The rear end paper and the interior pages are clean and lightly toned.
