First THUS Modern Library Edition unstated, 1940 Modern Library on copyright page. Presumed 1952 Printing with 360 titles on the reverse side of dust jacket.
The book is in Very Good condition with clean, bright boards with some puckered areas on the back. Also with, strong title ink on a sunned spine, clean, toned page blocks, tight binding, moderate spine tilt, rolled and lightly rubbed spine ends, mild edge wear, and rubbed corners with no bare spots. The interior of the book is in Very Good condition with the ghost of an erased price on the title page. No other marks, inscriptions, or other signs of ownership inside. The end papers and the interior pages are clean and lightly toned, making it an excellent addition to any collection.
The dust jacket is in Very Good condition with mild surface and heavy edge wear, and the price cut from the front flap. Looks great in a new Brodart archival wrap.
