For sale: a rare first edition, early printing hardcover copy of Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov with no dust jacket. First Edition unstated, 1955 G. P. Putnam’s. Third Impression stated.

The book is in Very Good condition with clean, bright boards with mild toning at the edges, and strong title gilt on the spine with a 1/2″ rubbed spot on the spine edge next to the publisher’s name.  Also with a tight binding, mild spine tilt, a few spots on page blocks, rolled spine ends, heavy edge wear, and two bumped corners. The interior of the book is also in Very Good condition with uneven toning on both end papers and paste downs. No other marks, inscriptions, or other signs of ownership inside. The interior pages are clean and lightly toned, making it an excellent addition to any collection.
