Description

For sale: a rare and exceptional Book Club edition  hardcover copy of Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov in a new archival wrap. Book Of The Month Club (BOMC)Edition statement, 1983 G. P. Putnam’s. Includes “Lolita Turns 30” inset with a new introduction by Erica Jong.

The book is in Near  condition with clean, bright boards, strong title gilt on the spine, tight binding, mild spine tilt, lightly rolled spine ends, mild edge wear, and strong corners. The interior of the book is also in Near Fine condition with no marks, inscriptions, or other signs of ownership inside. The end papers and the interior pages are clean and lightly toned, making it an excellent addition to any collection.

The dust jacket is a Book Club Edition jacket with no BOMC logo or statement. The only sign of being a BOMC jacket is the missing price on the front flap. The jacket is in Near Fine condition with some marks on the front, moderate to heavy surface wear, and mild edge wear.  Looks great in a new Brodart archival wrap.
