Description

For sale: a Rare and Exceptional first edition, first printing hardcover copy of Last of the Red Hot Lovers by Neil Simon, complete with an unclipped dust jacket protected in a new archival wrap. First Edition unstated, 1970 Random House. First printing stated and with number line reversed, 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2, as per publisher.

The exterior of the book is in Near Fine condition with spotless boards, and strong title ink on a convex spine. Also with, clean page blocks, tight binding, mild spine tilt, lightly rounded spine ends, moderate edge wear, and lightly rubbed corners. The interior of the book is also in Near Fine condition with the ghost of an erased price on the first free end paper and a chip on the bottom of page 89. No other marks, inscriptions, or other signs of ownership inside. The end papers and the interior pages are clean and bright, making it an excellent addition to any collection.

The dust jacket is in Near Fine condition with mild surface and edge wear, and the $4.95 price on the front flap and 11/70 date on the rear flap. Looks great in a new Brodart archival wrap.
