For sale: a Rare and Exceptional first edition, first printing hardcover copy of Kama Shilpa: A study of Indian Sculptures Depicting Love in Action Hardcover by Francis Leeson with a Poor dust jacket protected in a new archival wrap. First Edition stated on half title page, 1962 Taraporevala, India.
The book exterior is in Near Fine condition with bright boards with a few spots, strong title ink on a square spine and front design, lightly toned page blocks, tight binding, no spine tilt, , mild edge wear, and lightly rounded corners. The interior of the book is also in Near Fine condition with erased prices on the half title page. No other marks, inscriptions, or other signs of ownership inside. The end papers and the interior pages are clean, supple and lightly toned, making this an excellent addition to any collection.
The dust jacket is in Poor condition with 1/2″ of the spine top missing and even more from the back edges. The front cover is 95% complete with mild toning. Looks good in a new Brodart archival wrap.
