For sale: a Very Good first edition, first printing hardcover copy of Juneteenth by Ralph Ellison in a Near Fine un-clipped dust jacket. First Edition stated, 1999 Random House. First Printing with number line starting at 2, as per publisher.
The book is in Very Good condition with clean, bright boards, strong title gilt on the straight spine, lightly foxed page blocks, tight binding, no spine tilt, lightly rolled spine ends, mild edge wear, and lightly rubbed corners. The interior of the book is also in Very Good condition with a 1/2″ x 2″ mark on the first free end paper, disguised by a white paper label. No other marks, inscriptions, or other signs of ownership inside. The end papers and the interior pages are clean and bright, making it an excellent addition to any collection.
