For sale: a Rare and Exceptional first edition, first printing, hardcover copy of Tinker,Tailor, Soldier, Spy by John LeCarre in an archival wrap. First Edition stated, 1974 Knopf.  First Printing with 1974 on both title and copyright pages and no subsequent printing.

The exterior of the book is in Very Good condition with clean, cloth boards with a bit of sheen and a strong title ink on both the spine and the front board.  Also with, clean page blocks, the binding starting to separate at the top, mild spine tilt, rolled spine ends, mild edge wear, and lightly rubbed corners.  The interior of the book is also in Very Good condition with with an erased price on the first free end paper.. No other marks, inscriptions or other signs of ownership. The rear end paper and the interior pages are clean and lightly toned.

The dust jacket is in Good condition with a large gap on the top spine end, moderate surface wear, heavy edge wear, and no price on the front flap, as issued. Looks great in a Brodart archival wrap.
