Description
For sale: a rare very good first edition, later printing hardcover copy of Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace. First Paperback Edition stated, 1996 Little Brown. First Printing with full number line.
The exterior of the paperback edition is in NF condition, with clean, illustrated covers with no creases, mild surface wear, strong title on an un-cracked spine, light foxing to the top page block, a tight binding with no creases, lightly rubbed spine ends, mild edge wear and lightly rounded corners.
The interior of the book is also Near Fine, with no marks, inscriptions, or any other signs of ownership. The end papers and the interior pages are clean and lightly toned.
Equal parts philosophical quest and screwball comedy, Infinite Jest bends every rule of fiction without sacrificing for a moment its own entertainment value. It is an exuberant, uniquely American exploration of the passions that make us human – and one of those rare books that renew the idea of what a novel can do.
Ships promptly in a corrugated mailer with the book wrapped in both craft paper and multiple layers of bubble wrap.
