First Printing with 1933 on title and copyright pages and no subsequent printing. Illustrated by Sir John Tenniel, Arthur B. Frost, Henry Holiday, Harry Furniss and the Author.
The book is in Good condition with clean cloth boards with no title gilt on the heavily sunned spine and stronger on the front cover initials on the front cover. The volume has clean, toned page blocks, tight binding, mild spine tilt, rolled and rubbed spine ends, heavy edge wear, and rubbed corners with bare spots. The interior of the book is in Good condition with the previous owner’s name on the first free end paper and yellowed tape on both the front and rear seam. The frontispiece is clean and all the illustrations are all unmarked. No other marks, inscriptions, or other signs of ownership inside. The rear end paper and the interior pages are clean and lightly toned.
