For sale: a Rare and Exceptional first hardcover edition, first printing of Hay Fever: A Light Comedy in Three Acts by Noël Coward, with no dust jacket. First Edition stated, 1925 Harper Brothers. First printing presumed with I-Z code which indicates a September 1925 print date.
The book is in Good condition with clean, cloth boards with faded title ink on the spine label and stronger ink on the front label. Also with, toned page blocks, tight binding, moderate spine tilt, rubbed spine ends, heavy edge wear, and rubbed corners. The interior of the book is also in Very Good condition with the previous owner’s name on the first free end paper. No other marks, inscriptions, or other signs of ownership inside. The end papers and the interior pages are clean and lightly toned.
