For sale: a Very Rare and Exceptional first hardcover edition, first printing of Hapgood by Tom Stoppard in a new  archival wrap. Revised Edition described, 1994 Faber and Faber with two ISBN numbers. First Printing with no subsequent printing.

The book is in Near Fine condition with clean, cloth boards, strong title gilt on a straight spine, clean page blocks, tight binding, mild spine tilt, lightly rolled spine ends, mild edge wear, and lightly bumped corners. The interior of the book is in Near Fine condition with no marks, inscriptions or signs of ownership. The front and rear end papers have uneven toning. The interior pages are clean and lightly toned.

The dust jacket is in Near Fine condition without a price on the front flap as issued, mild surface and edge wear. Looks great in a new Brodart archival wrap.
